The following CrossCountry routes will have limited service in place between 07:30 and 18:30 on strike days:
Thursday 18 August
- Birmingham – North East and Scotland: Approximately one train per hour between Birmingham and York (via Derby, Sheffield and Leeds) with an extremely limited service to Edinburgh
- Birmingham – Bristol and Cardiff: No trains will run between Birmingham and Cardiff due to ongoing engineering works. A limited service will operate between Birmingham and Bristol
- Bristol – Plymouth: No trains will run between Bristol and Plymouth due to numerous signal boxes being closed
- Leicester – Peterborough – Cambridge – Stansted Airport: No trains will run due to numerous signal boxes being closed
- Birmingham – Leicester: One train per hour between Birmingham and Leicester (via Nuneaton)
- Derby – Nottingham: No CrossCountry trains will run but East Midlands Railway will operate one train per hour
- Manchester – Reading/Southampton: A reduced service between Manchester (via Crewe) and Reading/ Southampton (via Coventry & Oxford) will operate with some large gaps between trains
Friday 19 August
- North East/Scotland – Bristol/Plymouth: One train an hour between York and Birmingham and Bristol with four trains per day extended to Edinburgh and one train per day extended to Plymouth
- Manchester – Reading/Southampton: One train per hour between Manchester and Reading with extensions to Southampton
- Birmingham – Leicester/Peterborough: One train per hour between Birmingham and Leicester with two hourly extensions to Peterborough and one train per day to Cambridge
There will be no trains after 2000.
Saturday 20 August
- Birmingham – North East and Scotland: A limited service will run between Derby and York (via Sheffield and Leeds) with a small number extended to Edinburgh
- Birmingham – Bristol and Cardiff: No trains will run between Birmingham and Bristol / Cardiff due to signal boxes south of Birmingham being closed
- Bristol – Plymouth: No trains will run between Bristol and Plymouth due to numerous signal boxes being closed
- Birmingham – Leicester – Peterborough – Cambridge – Stansted Airport: No trains will run due to numerous signal boxes being closed and HS2 engineering works taking place at Water Orton
- Derby – Nottingham: No CrossCountry trains will run but East Midlands Railway will operate one train per hour
- Manchester – Reading/Southampton: A reduced service between Manchester (via Crewe and Styal) and Reading (via Coventry & Oxford) with some extensions to Southampton
