As you may already be aware from media reports, two full days of rail Industrial Action have been called for Saturday 1st, Wednesday 5th and Saturday 8th of October.
Action is being taken by both the RMT and ASLEF unions on Saturday 1st. Action is being taken by ASLEF union on Wednesday 5th October.
Please be aware that Northern will not be able to provide a train service on either of the above dates, and effectively the stations will be closed.
A Do Not Travel alert has been issued for both days during which the action will take place. Services are also expected to be impacted on Sunday 2nd and 9th October particularly during the morning so advice on this day is to check before you travel.
