After the last bus at 3.15am on Sunday (29th August), Stockport bus station will close so that work can begin on a brand new transport interchange.
A temporary bus station will then open with the first bus at 4.25am on Sunday, situated on Heaton Lane. Some services will move to other nearby stops. Please be mindful of this change when travelling around the borough, and advise residents to allow extra time to locate the new town centre bus stops.
